ABSTRACT

Dividend policy in the banking sector is influenced by many factors in distributing profits to shareholders. This research was conducted by analyzing the content of several articles published in Scopus-indexed journals based on trends from 1997-2023. The type of research conducted in several articles uses quantitative research with the dominant use of multiple regression in the data analysis method. Based on the word cloud data analysis and network visualization, research on dividend policy in the banking sector is still little done so it becomes an opportunity for future research by adding independent variables such as demographic dividends and capitalization and collaborating with other researchers across institutions or countries.
