TANTANGAN KOMPETENSI DIGITAL BAGI PENGAJAR DI ERA PANDEMIC COVID-19 TERHADAP KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN ABAD-21

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuikompetensi digital pengajar di masa pandemic covid-19
terkait dengan penyelenggaraan pendidikan abad-21 yang berkualitas. Apalagi, teknologi informasi dan
komunikasi telah dimanfaatkan sejak lama di dunia pendidikan. Namun, tantangan terbesar dari
penerapanTIKadalahkompetensidigitalpendidik.Metodepenelitianyangdigunakanadalah
pendekatan kualitatif melalui kegiatan survey.Data diambil menggunakan survei melalui penyebaran
kuesioner dan dokumen. Partisipan yang menjadi objek dari penyebaran kuesioner sebanyak 100
pengajar dari salahsatuuniversitas swasta di Jakarta.Data yangterlahterkumpul di analisis
menggunakan tahapan yaitureduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan triangulasi.Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwatantangan terbesar saat ini bagi pengajar adalah pengelolaan sumber
daya digital, penyelarasan pemanfaatan media sosial dan aplikasi teknologi, pemahaman terhadap TIK
tepat guna serta memaksimalkan pengembangan diri. Jadi, para pengajar harus memahami lebih dalam
konsep dari pemanfaatan dan penggunaan TIK dalam pengajaran di masa pandemic covid-19. Hasil
penelitian bisa berimplikasi pada peningkatan pengembangan diri pengajar untuk TIK yang terus
berkembangdiduniapendidikandanlembagapendidikanbisamemfasilitasipenyelenggaraan
pengembangan kompetensi teknologi pengajar sesuai kebutuhan.
