Resistance Band Training on The Gyaku-Tsuki Punch Speed of Female Karate Athletes at The Lemkari Dojo

Abstract

Study problem Gyaku Tsuki punch speed based on field observation, there are still many defeats in matches. Study goals resistance bands training affect on punch speed Dojo Lemkari Jalur city. Methods type research experimental one group pre test - post test. Female atlet age 15-18 years and exist training more 8 years Karate sample wich 15 female people. Statistic test normality data and homogenity data. Result resistance band signifficant effect was demonstrated from female Dojo Lemkari Jalur average pre test  score 37,66 and a post test score 45,66. Hypothesis result signifficant data of 13,011 > 2,160. Therefore the hyphotesis accepted and  resistance band training result change in the speed of female karate athletes from the Lemkari Dojo in Jalur city.
