This study aims to explore the impact of reaction speed training methods on improving the ability of female futsal goalkeepers to face penalties. The problem raised is the lack of ability to react to the goalkeeper when facing a penalty, which can be seen from the slow response to the direction of the ball. This study applied a quantitative approach through the design of a pre-test-post test group experiment. The number of research samples consisted of 20 women's futsal goalkeepers who were selected by the purposive sampling method. The research instrument was in the form of a test of the ability to face penalty kicks before and after being given treatment. The treatment was carried out through rapid reaction exercises using tennis balls for 10 sessions. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and t-test testing of paired samples. The results showed a significance value of 0.024 (<0.05), which indicated a significant increase between the pretest and posttest results. Therefore, it can be concluded that the speed reaction training method has a significant impact on improving the skills of women's futsal goalkeepers when dealing with penalty kicks.
