Using a pre- experimental research design with a pretest-posttest one group design model, this research involved several students as samples. Data was collected through learning outcomes tests that had been validated by material experts and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with the t-test. The research results show that the use of creative and interesting audiovisual learning media significantly improves student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. This media makes it easier for students to understand the material, increases interest in learning, and allows flexible learning access.
Syifa Wulan Alfiani, Bertika Kusuma, Agus Wiyanto, Suprapti Copyright (c) 2024 Syifa Wulan Alfiani, Bertika Kusuma, Agus Wiyanto, Suprapti http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.univpgri-palembang.ac.id/index.php/hon/article/view/15400 Wed, 12 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of The Drill Training Method on The Service Capability of Volkas Volleyball Academy U-17 https://jurnal.univpgri-palembang.ac.id/index.php/hon/article/view/15633
One of the basic techniques in volleyball is the serve, which marks the start of the game. Players usually perform the serve with an overhead serve technique so that it can also provide an attack. The aim of this study is to test the effect of drill training on improving overhead serve ability. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research design, involving 20 junior volleyball athletes as subjects. The research was conducted over 6 weeks with a training frequency of 3 times per week. The test instrument used was the AAHPER serving accuracy test. The results of this study showed an increase in the average score from the pre-test (22.8) to the post-test (25.5). The paired sample t-test showed a p-value (sig) of -3.3441, which is smaller than the table value (sig) of 2.10092, indicating a significant difference in the effect of drill training on overhead serve ability.
Moh. Drilling practice has been recognized as an effective method for improving the technical skills of badminton players. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of smash drilling practice on smash accuracy in badminton players. This research is an experimental study involving 12 students from SMPN 3 Satu Atap Galis - Maduran - East Java - Indonesia. The smash drilling practice sessions were designed to sharpen the technical and tactical aspects of the smash through structured repetitions over a period of 6 weeks. The research results indicate that the experimental group undergoing smash drilling practice experienced a significant improvement in smash accuracy. The average pre-test score was 18.75, and the average post-test score was 23.08. The normality test yielded p-values of 0.068 for the pre-test and 0.324 for the post-test, indicating that the data follow a normal distribution at a 5% coefficient. The paired sample t-test resulted in a p-value of 0.000 with a coefficient of 0.05, indicating a significant difference. These findings indicate that drilling smash training is effective in improving badminton players' technical skills, especially in terms of smash accuracy.
Aditya Dwi Candra, Septyaningrum Putri Purwoto, Heni Yuli Handayani, Agus Himawan Copyright (c) 2024 Aditya Dwi Candra, Septyaningrum Putri Purwoto, Heni Yuli Handayani, Agus Himawan http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.univpgri-palembang.ac.id/index.php/hon/article/view/15544 Mon, 17 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Assessment Of Athlete Concentration Via Application: Validity, Reliability And Categorization https://jurnal.univpgri-palembang.ac.id/index.php/hon/article/view/15668
The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of athletes' concentration instruments by finding their validity and reliability levels and categorizing their concentration levels. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey approach and uses a type of trial design. The subjects of this study were 20 sports students who were members of the Handball Student Activity Unit at STKIP Pasundan. The instrument tested is a concentration test in the Concentration Grid Test (CGT) application developed by the Stalwart Group LLC company with a total of 36 boxes, consisting of 6 rows and 6 columns. The research data was collected using the test method, where the test was carried out as many as two repetitions. This type of data analysis uses the Pearson correlation method approach for validity, which analyzes the data of the first test result with the average of the test results, while for reliability it uses the test-retest technique and for the determination of categorization using the interval class length search approach technique. The results of the study found that the validity value for this instrument is r = 0.980 and the value for reliability is r = 0.931, so this is included in the very high category. As for the categorization, it is divided into five categories, namely very good, good, medium, less and less once.
Sumbara Hambali, Veny Juniarni Hardi Copyright (c) 2024 Sumbara Hambali, Veny Juniarni Hardi http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.univpgri-palembang.ac.id/index.php/hon/article/view/15668 Fri, 28 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000
