Abstract


ABSTRAK

Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (selanjutnya disingkat CTL). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual diharapkan siswa dapat menulis karangan deskripsi dengan baik. Hal itu dikarenakan pendekatan pembelajaran ini menekankan pada keterkaitan antara materi pembelajaran dengan dunia nyata siswa, sehingga siswa mampu menghubungkan dan menerapkan kompetensi hasil belajar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

INFLUENCE OF THE USE OF THE CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING APPROACH TO WRITING ABILITY OF THE DESCRIPTION OF STUDENTS IN CLASS X SMAN 4 KOTABUMI

ABSTRACT

One learning approach that can be used in teaching and learning activities is the contextual teaching and learning approach (hereinafter abbreviated CTL). By using a contextual learning approach it is expected that students can write essay descriptions well. This is because this learning approach emphasizes the relationship between learning material and the real world of students, so that students are able to connect and apply learning outcomes in their daily lives.
