Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksposisi Dengan Model Mind Maping Melalui Media Gambar Pada Siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi dengan model mind mapping melalui media gambar pada siswa kelas X MIPA 1 Puspita Air Kumbang. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan dalam menulis teks eksposisi dengan model mind mapping melalui media gambar diadakan evaluasi pada setiap siklus yang dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini diadakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. subjek penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Puspita Air Kumbang yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya keteramapilan menulis teks eksposisi dengan model mind mapping melalui media gambar. Dapat dilihat pada siklus I siswa yang mencapai kritera ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 70,yakni sebesar 20 siswa atau 60.60%. setelah diadakan siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan yakni 29 siswa atau 85% hal ini mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,27 %. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model mind mapping melalui media gambar mampu meningkatkan keteramapilan menulis teks eksposisi pada peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Puspita Air Kumbang.
