Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peranan stilistika dalam interpretasi makna teks sastra religius melalui Syair Perahu karya Hamzah Fansuri, sebuah karya sufistik penting dalam tradisi sastra Melayu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana elemen stilistika, seperti metafora, simbolisme, alusi, dan irama, dapat memperkaya pemahaman terhadap perjalanan spiritual yang digambarkan dalam syair ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan stilistika untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis elemen bahasa yang mendukung penyampaian ajaran sufistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen stilistika tidak hanya meningkatkan keindahan estetik Syair Perahu, tetapi juga menjadi sarana utama dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai spiritual. Simbol-simbol seperti perahu, laut, dan rintangan alam merepresentasikan perjalanan manusia menuju Tuhan yang membutuhkan pengendalian diri, introspeksi, dan kesadaran akan hakikat kehidupan. Kesimpulannya, stilistika berperan penting dalam membantu pembaca memahami makna religius yang mendalam, menjadikan Syair Perahu sebagai karya sastra yang memiliki nilai spiritual tinggi sekaligus daya tarik estetika.
