Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah pemenuhan kebutuhan bertingkat tokoh dalam film Jembatan Pensil karya sutradara Hasto Broto berdasarkan teori psikologi humanistik Abraham Maslow. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan peneliti terdiri dari sumber data primer, yaitu video film Jembatan Pensil, dan sumber data sekunder yaitu berupa buku-buku, artikel, jurnal dan literatur-literatur yang relevan dengan penelitian ini untuk memperkuat pendapat dan melengkapi hasil penelitian.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu teknik Observasi nonpartisipan, catat dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang dianalisis oleh peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kebutuhan terdapat pada tokoh dalam film Jembatan Pensil karya sutradara Hasto Broto. Tokoh Ondeng, Aida, Gading dan Pak guru mampu memenuhi semua aspek kebutuhan menurut teori Maslow. Pada tokoh Inal, Azka, Nia, Yanti, Pamone, Arman tidak semua aspek terpenuhi melainkan hanya empat aspek kebutuhan menurut teori Maslow. Pada tokoh Bu Farida, Attar tidak semua aspek terpenuhi melainkan hanya tiga aspek kebutuhan menurut teori Maslow.
