ABSTRAK
Tulisan ini membahas kajian Buku Ketika Orang Jawa Nyeni dengan tujuan agar apresiasi terhadap karya seni nusantara khususnya jawa dapat menjadi motivasi dalam lestarinya seni budaya lokal khususnya Palembang Sumatera Selatan dengan hasil deskripsi reviuw yang telah dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif, sehingga akan dideskripsikan sesuai dengan hasil analisis data dengan jenis pengumpulan data studi pustaka. Studi pustaka merupakan metode pengumpulan data yang diarahkan kepada pencarian data dan informasi melalui dokumen-dokumen, baik dokumen tertulis, foto-foto, gambar, maupun dokumen elektronik yang dapat mendukung dalam proses penulisan. Tulisan ini menjelaskan studi kajian antropologi budaya dalam ranah kajian seni secara teks dan konteks. hasil kajian menjawab bahwa perkembangan seni budaya secara modern akan semakin mempengaruhi pola pikir seniman dalam berkreatifitas untuk pelestariaan kesenian yang kaya akan nilai tradisi, dalam hal ini tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai yang telah ada tetapi tetap seniman mampu beradaptasi terhadap modernisasi dan pakem pada antropologi budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, sehingga akan dideskripsikan sesuai dengan hasil analisis data.
