PEMETAAN HIRARKI ORDE-BARANG PASAR DI KOTA PALEMBANG

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah pola sebaran spasial lokasi pasar di kota Palembang dilihat dari karakteristika barang. Dari 37 titik lokasi pasar yang diteliti, terdapat 8 pasar tergolong pasar barang higher-oder dan 29 pasar tergolong pasar barang lower-order. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Getis-Ord Gi, menunjukan bahwa pasar dengan higher-order-goods lebih memusat di tengah kota, sedangkan pasar yang tergolong lower-order-goods lebih berkencederungan menyebar. Hasil penelitian ini membuka peluang bagi pengembangan kerangka teoritis serta empiris untuk riset lanjutanuntuk memahami stuktur spasial dan evolusi sektor jasa di Kawasan Asia-Tenggara.
