Transmission line wire that is installed between two transmission towers, will not be in the form of a horizontal straight line, but will form an arch or an arc. Because the transmission line voltage is a high voltage, the voltage conducting wire can cause capacitance. The capacitance of a transmission line is caused by the presence of a potential difference between the conductors, and the earth can affect the capacitance of the transmission line because the presence of the earth will change the electric field of the channel. If you carry a wire that is too large it will affect the value of capacitance to the ground which will be even greater. This study aims to determine the height of transmission lines, and the amount of capacitance to the ground in the transmission line with sag, then analyze the effect of sag on capacitance to the ground on the 150 kV Transmission Line from Keramasan Palembang Substation to Mariana Substation. From the results of the study it was found that the 38-39 goal and 01-02 span had the smallest number and had the smallest capacitance to the ground. Then the goal (span) 39-40 and the span 05-06 have the largest number and have the greatest capacitance to the ground. It can be concluded that the capacitance to the ground in the transmission line is influenced by the caravan, where if the vehicle becomes larger, the capacitance to the ground will be even greater.
