EVALUASI KUAT PENERANGAN DI RUANG PRAKTIKUM LABORATORIUM TERPADU UNIVERSITAS PGRI PALEMBANG

Room’s Illumination must comply with the requirements of the room. Illumination standart of apractical laboratoryis. 300-500 lux.This research indicatesthe illumination of the room laboratoryin PGRI University of Palembang obtained the average intensity when lights turned on is 105.08 lux – 252.17 Lux and 98.36 lux – 156.95 lux whenthe lights isturn off. The illumination is too low and it’s notstandarized according to SNI 03-6575-2001. It can be due to the lack of artificial lighting installed in every room as well as the layout of the cabinets or shelves that obstruct natural light into each room especially on the table or the layout of the building is hindered by trees so the natural light entrance of the building did not meet any space.
ABSTRAK
Intensitas penerangan pada suatu ruangan harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan ruangan tersebut. Ruang praktikum pada sebuah laboratorium haruslah memenuhi standar yang direkomendasikan yaitu 300-500lux. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kuat penerangan pada ruang praktikum di laboratorium Terpadu Universitas PGRI Palembang diperoleh nilai intensitas rata-rata sebesar 105.08 lux – 252.17 Lux saat lampu ruangan di nyalakan dan 98.36 lux – 156.95 lux saat lampu ruangan padam, masih rendah dan tidak memenuhi menurut standar SNI 03-6575-2001. Hal ini dapat disebabkan kurangnya pencahayaan buatan yang dipasang disetiap ruangan serta tata letak lemari atau rak yang menghalangi masuknya cahaya alami ke setiap ruang terutama pada meja atau tata letak gedung yang terhalang oleh perpohonan sehingga cahaya alami yang masuk kedalam gedung tidak memenuhi setiap ruang.
