Pengenalan Toefl ITP: Peningkatan Kesiapan Akademis Siswa MAN 1 Mandailing Natal

This Community Service activity aims to enhance students’ academic readiness for the English proficiency test through an introduction to the TOEFL ITP. The activity was carried out on October 4, 2025, at MAN 1 Mandailing Natal by the lecturer team from the Language Center Unit (UPT Bahasa) of STAIN Mandailing Natal. The implementation methods included a socialization of the TOEFL ITP format, an explanation of its three main components (Listening, Structure, and Reading), and simple practice simulations. The participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and gained a better understanding of the structure and basic strategies of the TOEFL ITP. Evaluation results indicated that this activity successfully fostered students’ motivation to improve their academic English proficiency. Through this program, students received an initial foundation to prepare for the TOEFL ITP, which is an important requirement for pursuing further studies and obtaining scholarships.
