Pemberdayaan Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ranau Tengah dalam Promosi Geowisata Danau Ranau, Oku Selatan

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ranau Tengah dalam mengenali, mengeksplorasi, dan mempromosikan potensi geowisata lokal di kawasan Danau Ranau, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Selatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang memadukan eksplorasi lapangan. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep geowisata, penumbuhan kesadaran ekologis, serta peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam pelestarian dan promosi potensi daerah. Peserta kegiatan yang terlibat berjumlah 50 siswa dari SMA Negeri 1 Banding Agung Ranau Tengah dan didampingi oleh guru geografi sebagai mitra kegiatan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket post-test untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kepedulian, motivasi, dan partisipasi siswa setelah kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aspek yang diukur berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dengan persentase antara 84% sampai 98%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan siswa melalui eksplorasi dan promosi geowisata lokal mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, kepedulian lingkungan, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam mengenalkan potensi geowisata daerah secara edukatif dan berkelanjutan.
