Pendampingan Pengembangan Sistem Pengelolaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Moodle di SMP 12 Malang

Pembelajaran berbasis daring erat kaitannya dengan pemanfaatan teknologi media digital. Banyak aplikasi yang menawarkan berbagai fitur menarik dengan segala kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing. Hal ini tentu mendorong setiap lembaga pendidikan untuk menggunakan media digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. SMPN 12 Malang beralamatan di Jalan Slamet Supriadi Nomor 49 Bandungrejosari Kecamatan Sukun Kota Malang Jawa Timur. Selama pandemi, kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai arahan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Malang. Khususnya pada pembelajaran daring, kegiatan dilakukan melalui Google Classroom dan Google Meet. Dalam pemanfaatannya Google Classroom dirasa kurang mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran karena fitur yang ditawarkan aplikasi tesebut terlalu minim. Google Classroom hanya menyediakan pranala materi dan penugasan yang dapat dinilai. Selain itu, pembelajaran melalui Google Meet juga kurang bermakna karena hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Berbeda dengan sistem pengelolaan pembelajaran melalui Moodle. Moodle memiliki fitur yang melimpah, baik dari fitur dasar maupun fitur tambahan. Moodle bukan hanya dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran daring, melainkan juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan luring, bahkan pembelajaran campuran. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat FS UM bemaksud untuk mengadakan “Pendampingan Pengembangan Sistem Pengelolaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Moodle di SMPN 12 Malangâ€. Tujuan diadakan kegiatan ini adalah agar guru mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan Moodle dalam sistem pengelolaan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan bermakna.
