Efektivitas Strategi Whole Brain Teaching dalam Mengoptimalisasi Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Pinrang yang diajar menggunakan strategi Whole Brain Teaching (WBT) dengan mereka yang menerima pembelajaran melalui metode konvensional, serta perbedaan hasil belajar antara keduanya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan rancangan kuasi-eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIA SMAN 3 Pinrang sejumlah 153 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 61 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi untuk peserta didik, serta lembar observasi untuk guru. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika siswa yang menggunakan strategi WBT sebesar 84,18 (kategori sedang), sedangkan pada metode konvensional sebesar 70,03 (kategori rendah). Terdapat selisih sebesar 20,20% antara kedua kelompok, yang menunjukkan bahwa strategi WBT lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah strategi Whole Brain Teaching terbukti efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Fisika untuk meningkatkan capaian akademik siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan eksplorasi lebih lanjut terhadap variabel lain seperti keaktifan belajar, minat, dan keterampilan sosial dalam penerapan strategi WBT.
