ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM FILM “SURAT DARI IBU”

Pendidikan karakter memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk pribadi anak yang lebih baik demi masa depannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam film Surat dari Ibu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis konten. Sumber data berasal dari video “Surat dari Ibu” yang tersedia di YouTube, dengan data berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, dan adegan yang mencerminkan karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi lima nilai karakter utama dalam film tersebut, yaitu religius, mandiri, komunikatif, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa film Surat dari Ibu dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter, khususnya bagi siswa sekolah dasar dan menengah.
