Correction and Retraction Policy

Jurnal Redoks is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal takes appropriate action when errors or concerns are identified in articles that have been published.

Corrections

A correction may be published when an error is identified in a published article and the error affects the accuracy, clarity, or interpretation of the article but does not invalidate its main findings or conclusions.

Authors who identify significant errors in their published articles should promptly notify the editorial team. Readers may also report suspected errors by contacting the journal's editorial office. The editorial team will assess the information and determine whether a correction is necessary.

Published corrections will clearly identify the affected article and explain the nature of the correction. The original article will remain accessible, with an appropriate link to the correction where applicable.

Retractions

A published article may be retracted when there is reliable evidence of serious problems that undermine the validity or integrity of the research. Reasons for retraction may include research data fabrication or falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, serious errors that invalidate the findings, or other forms of publication misconduct.

Retraction decisions will be made by the editorial team after an appropriate assessment of the available evidence. Where necessary, the journal may seek clarification from the authors or consult the authors' affiliated institutions and other relevant parties.

A retraction notice will identify the affected article and explain the reasons for retraction. The original article will normally remain available for the scholarly record but will be clearly marked as retracted, with a prominent link to the retraction notice.

Expression of Concern

When serious concerns arise about a published article but an investigation is ongoing or the available evidence is insufficient for a final decision, the journal may publish an expression of concern. The expression of concern will explain the nature of the issue and will be updated when further information becomes available, where appropriate.

Editorial Assessment and Fairness

All reports of errors or suspected publication misconduct will be assessed fairly and objectively. Authors will be given an appropriate opportunity to respond to concerns. Editorial actions will be proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the issue and will follow applicable publication ethics principles.
