> "JIPBP: Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Perikanan dan Budidaya Perairan" journal publishes articles twice a year in June and December. This journal was firstly published in print version since 2003 by Faculty of Fisheries and marine, Universitas PGRI Palembang with print ISSN 1693-6442. However, archives stored online in this OJS was starting from Volume 6 No. 1 June 2009.

> Since Volume 12 No. 1 December 2017, this journal has registered with online ISSN 2620-4622. This journal also experienced several times in change of editorial board and reviewers.

> Starting from Volume 15 No 1 June 2020, the journal template has a slight change such as the addition of journal logo and URL at the first page header of each article and the license logo at the footer.

> Starting from volume 13 Number 2 December 2018 until Volume 18 Number 1 June 2023, this journal has been accredited SINTA 4 by The Arjuna Acrreditation.
Furthermore, since Volume 17 Number 1 June 2021, This Journal has published 10 Manuscripts of Articles that were Accepted

> On 22 June, OJS Website Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Perikanan dan Budidaya Perairan (JIPBP) Switched to Version OJS 3.1 (Open Journal System)
