This study was conducted due to the low speaking ability of students, reflected in their lack of confidence, difficulty expressing ideas orally, and the limited use of effective learning models and media. The study aimed to analyze and compare the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) supported by the Teleprompter application, considering the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and learning styles. Using a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design and a quasi-experimental method, data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that both models effectively improved students’ speaking skills. The PBL model increased the average score from 57.14 to 94.52 (N-Gain = 0.87, high category), while the PjBL model improved scores from 50.26 to 86.96 (N-Gain = 0.74, high category). Independent t-test results indicated a significant difference between the two models, with PBL being more effective than PjBL. These findings suggest that the integration of CRT, learning styles, and the Teleprompter application contributes positively to improving students’ speaking abilities.
