Kearifan Lokal Masyarakat Baduy Luar Dalam Memanfaatkan Bambu Sebagai Bahan Pembuatan Alat Musik Untuk Mengiringi Tari

Baduy adalah salah satu suku yang terletak di pedalaman Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. Kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Baduy masih terikat dengan hukum adat, tradisi dan peraturan yang berlaku didaerahnya. Sumber daya alam memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam menunjang kelangsungan hidup masyarakat Baduy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kearifan lokal masyarakat Baduy Luar dalam memanfaatkan bambu sebagai bahan dalam pembuatan alat musik. Untuk mengetahui permasalahan tersebut, digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Baduy Luar sudah mulai beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi, namun sebagian besar masyarakatnya masih bersifat tradisional dan masih menaati adat istiadat dan norma yang berlaku. Mereka tidak menggunakan alat-alat elektronik, termasuk dalam keseniannya. Masyarakat Baduy memanfaatkan bambu sebagai bahan dalam pembuatan alat musik tradisional. Terdapat beberapa alat musik tradisional masyarakat Baduy yang mereka buat diantaranya yaitu celempung, angklung buhu, karinding kuskus dan suling.
