Abstract

ABSTRAK

 

Guritan adalah salah satu jenis sastra daerah masyarakat Besemah yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk teater tutur, artinya ia dituturkan secara monolog oleh seorang penutur cerita dalam bahasa Besemah dengan lagu atau syair tertentu, lebih jauh guritan mempunyai bentuk dalam pertunjukannya yang masi dipakai pada masyarakat kota Pagaralam dalam acara pernikahan, adapun struktur yang pertama yaitu penutur guritan dari kalangan orang tua, syair guritan mempunyai nada tersendiri dan mempunyai struktur pembuka isi penutup, tempat pentas dilakukan pada tradisi pernikahan,adapun kostum yang digunakan yaitu pakaian telok belango dan memakai kopiah andam, dan penonton didalam pertunjukan guritan pada saat ini lebih banyak dari kalangan orang tua.
