Abstract

Pertunjukan seni musik di era revolusi industri 4.0 mengalami banyak perubahan, perubahan tersebut berdampak besar bagi para pelaku industri dalam hal pemasaran musik maupun konsumen dalam hal menikmati musik. Di era revolusi 4.0 saat ini, setiap individu dituntut untuk saling berpacu dalam mengisi kehidupan, baik di bidang pendidikan maupun keterampilan. Untuk menyikapi tantangan pada era 4.0 ini penulis mempunyai keinginan untuk melakukan perubahan dalam diri sendiri, baik cara pola berfikir maupun dalam bidang keterampilan agar penulis bisa berguna baik untuk kemajuan diri sendiri dan bermanfaat untuk khalayak banyak. Pada kesempatan ini, penulis menampilkan repertoar pada zaman modern dengan menggunakan instrumen marimba yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan berbeda. Hal ini merupakan tantangan bagi penulis untuk dapat menguasai teknik-teknik dengan kesulitan yang terdapat pada masing-masing repertoar. Marimba merupakan salah satu jenis alat musik perkusi melodis yang masih tergolong jarang dikenal oleh masyarakat umum.
