Abstract

ABSTRAK

 

Artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan keberadaan Tari Zapin Arab dalam hajatan pernikahan masyarakat keturunan Arab di Kota Palembang dan bentuk pertunjukannya. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode penilitian kualitatif dan disajikan dalam bentuk diskriptif analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bentuk pertunjukan Tari Zapin Arab dan masyarakat pendukung Tari Zapin Arab serta peranan Tari Zapin Arab dalam upacara resepsi pernikahan masyarakat keturunan Arab di Kota Palembang.
