This study aims to analyze the influence of competency certification on work motivation, job satisfaction, and work discipline among workers in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using questionnaire data from 101 ICT professionals holding nationally or internationally recognized competency certifications. Descriptive analysis and classical assumption tests were conducted prior to performing simple linear regression analysis to determine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that competency certification has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, job satisfaction, and work discipline. The coefficients of determination (R²) were 0.056 for work motivation, 0.171 for job satisfaction, and 0.290 for work discipline, with all relationships being statistically significant (p < 0.05). While previous studies have mainly emphasized the role of competency certification in employability and career outcomes, this study extends the literature by simultaneously examining its influence on work motivation, job satisfaction, and work discipline among ICT professionals. This study contributes theoretically to the development of Human Resource Management literature and practically as a reference for improving workforce quality and informing vocational education, certification institutions, and ICT industry policies.
