Efektifitas Paparan Spektrum Cahaya Lampu Light Emitting Diode (LED) Terhadap Kinerja Pertumbuhan Dan Kualitas Warna Ikan Platy Kohaku (Xiphophorus maculatus)

Ikan Platy Kohaku (Xiphophorus maculatus) adalah ikan yang berasal dari Amerika Tengah dan Amerika Selatan. Ikan ini pertama kali ditemukan di wilayah Meksiko dan Amerika Tengah pada abad ke-19 dan sejak saat itu ikan hias yang popular di dunia karena warnanya yang memukau, ikan platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) menjadi salah satu ikan hias yang banyak dicari masyarakat umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga ulangan dan empat perlakuan. Perlakuan A (Spektrum LED berwarna putih), perlakuan B (Spektrum LED berwarna merah), perlakuan C (Spektrum LED berwarna hijau), serta perlakuan D (Spektrum LED berwarna biru). Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat kelangsungan hidup terbaik ada pada perlakuan C (LED hijau) dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 100%. Pertumbuhan bobot dan panjang mutlak tertinggi terbaik pada perlakuan D (LED Biru) dengan bobot mutlak 0,27gram dan panjang mutlak sebesar 0,23cm.
Platy Kohaku fish (Xiphophorus maculatus) is a fish that comes from Central America and South America. This fish was first discovered in Mexico and Central America in the 19th century and since then it has become a popular ornamental fish in the world. Platy fish (Xiphophorus maculatus) is one of the most popular ornamental fish in the community because it has a beautiful color. This study employed a fully randomized design (CRD) experiment with three replications and four treatments. Treatment A (LED spectrum is white), treatment B (LED spectrum is red), treatment C (LED spectrum is green), and treatment D (LED spectrum is blue). The results showed that the best survival rate was in treatment C (green LED) with a survival rate of 100%. The best growth in absolute weight and length was in treatment D (Blue LED) with an absolute weight of 0.27 gram and an absolute length of 0.23 cm.
