All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, properly cite all sources, and provide appropriate acknowledgment for ideas, data, quotations, and materials obtained from other works.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Direct plagiarism: Copying text or ideas from other sources without proper citation or acknowledgment.

  2. Self-plagiarism: Reusing substantial portions of previously published work without appropriate disclosure and citation.

  3. Mosaic plagiarism: Combining copied phrases or ideas from multiple sources without proper attribution.

  4. Improper paraphrasing: Presenting another author's ideas in different wording without acknowledging the original source.

  5. Duplicate publication: Submitting or publishing substantially similar work in more than one journal without appropriate disclosure.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and authenticity of their submissions. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism may be rejected during the review process. If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal may take corrective action, including issuing a correction, retracting the article, or notifying the authors' affiliated institutions, depending on the severity of the violation.

The editorial team evaluates each case carefully and follows established publication ethics principles to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic accountability.

By submitting a manuscript to Parataksis, authors confirm that their work is original, appropriately referenced, and compliant with the journal's publication ethics requirements.
