PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP MENULIS KARANGAN DESKRIPSI PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 32 PALEMBANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the use of audio media on writing descriptive text essays for class VII students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang. The ability of students in descriptive text material for class VII students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang is still lacking because the interest in learning or the media used is not varied. The focus of this study is to identify whether there is an effect of using audio-visual media on writing descriptive text essays. The results of this study indicate that the use of audio-visual media has an effect on writing descriptive essays in class VII students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang. It can be seen from the results of the T test that the significance value of the variable is 0.002≤0.05. This means that there is a significant effect of learning audio-visual media on the ability to write descriptive text for class VII students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang. So it can be concluded that audio-visual media has a significant influence on the ability to write descriptive text so that it can achieve good and optimal learning.
