Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan proses pembelajaran tari Tanggai dalam nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter anak di sanggar puteri batang hari sembilan era pandemi covid-19. Fokus permasalahan pada kebutuhan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter anak pada pelestarian tari Tanggai di Kota Palembang Sumatera Selatan Era Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan secara naratif dengan menggunakan strategi penelitian studi kasus terpancang. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kebutuhan kegiatan strategi dalam penanaman karakter pada pembelajaran tari Tanggai di Sanggar Puteri Batang Hari Sembilan Kota Palembang dilihat dari komponen-komponen tahapan pembelajarannya. Wujud dalam pelestariaan tari Tanggai dapat diteruskan melalui pembelajaran secara nonformal. Analisis kebutuhan dalam proses pembelajaran tari Tanggai memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan yang tertuang di dalamnya yaitu nilai religi, nilai solidaritasa, nilai edukasi ketekunan, kejujuran, keteladanan dan cinta pada kesenian tradisi setempat yang menghadirkan sikap menjaga budaya tradisi terkhusus pada tari Tanggai.References
