Editorial Board
Peer Review Process
Every article submitted to Wahana Didaktika: Jurnal Ilmu Kependidikan undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure the quality of publication.
1. Initial Screening by the Editorial Board
- The Editorial Board will review each submission to assess its alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as adherence to the author guidelines.
- Articles that do not meet the basic criteria may be rejected or returned to the author for revision before proceeding to the next stage.
2. Peer Review Process (Mitra Bebestari)
- Articles that pass the initial screening will be sent to Peer Reviewers (Mitra Bebestari) who are experts in the relevant field.
- This journal follows a Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity and maintain high-quality evaluation.
3. Evaluation and Revision
- Peer reviewers will assess the article based on substantial and technical aspects, including the clarity of arguments, scientific contributions, research methodology, and relevance to the field of education.
- The review outcome can result in one of the following decisions:
- Accepted without revisions
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Accepted with major revisions
- Rejected
- Articles requiring revisions will be returned to the authors for improvements based on the feedback from the reviewers.
4. Review Duration
- The entire peer review process typically takes a maximum of one month, depending on the authors' responsiveness in addressing the required revisions.
5. Final Decision and Publication
- After the revisions are completed, the article will undergo a final review by the Editorial Board before acceptance for publication.
- Accepted articles will then proceed to the final editing stage before being officially published in the journal.
