Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the article will be sent to Bebestari Partners/peer reviewers and will go to the next selection by the Blind Preview Process. After that, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes one month at maximum. In each manuscript, Bebestari Partners/peer reviewers will be assessed from substantial and technical aspects. Bebestari partner/peer reviewer who collaborates with Jurnal Wahana Didaktika.

Publication Frequency

Wahana Didaktika: Journal of Educational Sciences is published three times a year; in January, May and September for each issue. This journal is also published in electronic version.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides direct open access to its content on the principle of making research publicly available in favor of greater global knowledge support.

Publication Ethics Statement

Wahana Didaktika Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published by the LPPKM Publication and Research Institute, PGRI University of Palembang. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal, including the authors, editor-in-chief, Editorial Board, peer-reviewers and publisher. This statement is based on the COPE Best Practices Guidelines for Journal Editors.

 

Publication of an article in the peer-reviewed journal Wahana Didaktika is an important building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the authors' work and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on expected standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.

Publication decisions

The Wahana Didaktika journal editor is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal will be published. The validity of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. Editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

Journal History

Wahana Didaktika publication: Journal of Educational Sciences Since 2007, electronically the journal was included in the website system in 2018 volume 16 edition 1. In 2024 the article manuscript template will be changed starting in Volume 22 number 2.
