Kontroversi Interpretasi Orang Tua terhadap Penggunaan Pembelajaran Online Terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Masa Covid-19

Abstract

Orang tua memaknai pembelajaran daring berbeda dengan pembelajaran tatap muka yang mungkin mempunyai konsekuensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kontroversi orang tua dalam melakukan pembelajaran daring pada masa penyakit virus corona 19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam menganalisis data penelitian. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 24 orang tua siswa sekolah dasar. Data diambil melalui kuesioner. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya setuju dan tidak setuju terhadap penggunaan pembelajaran daring. Kesepakatan penggunaan pembelajaran daring didasarkan pada keefektifan pembelajaran daring. Hal ini efektif untuk mengurangi penyebaran penyakit virus corona. Selain itu, nilai siswa juga meningkat. Pembelajaran online juga dapat membantu orang tua dalam mengontrol anak. Sedangkan perbedaan pendapat didasari oleh sulitnya mengakses materi dan memahami penjelasan guru. Orang tua harus mendampingi anaknya dalam belajar. Dibutuhkan lebih banyak dana untuk mendukung pembelajaran online. Nilai siswa juga kurang memuaskan.
