Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam Menulis Siswa Kelas XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Pre Eksperimental Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang yang berjumlah 302 orang, dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu teknik tes, teknik  dokumentasi, dan teknik wawancara. Teknik analisis data, yaitu teknik analisis data menulis karangan argumentasi,dan teknik analisis data wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan argumentasi siswa Kelas XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang. Hal ini ditunjukkan setelah dilakukan pengujian mean tes awal dan tes akhir dengan harga bahwa thitung >ttabel yaitu 1.68 < 9.04. Ho (hipotesis nol) ditolak, dan Ha  (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Sehingga pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan argumentasi.

THE EFFECT OF THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) LEARNING MODEL ON THE ABILITY OF WRITING STUDENT CLASS XI SMK SETIA DARMA PALEMBANG

 

Abstract

          The purpose of this research is to know and describe the influence of learning model of Think Talk Write (TTW) in Writing Student Class XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang. The research method used is Pre Experimental Design method. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang which amounted to 302 people, and the sample of the study amounted to 34 people. Data collection techniques, namely test techniques, documentation techniques, and interview techniques. Data analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques writing argumentation, and interview data analysis techniques. The result of the research shows that there is a significant influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model in the learning of writing argumentation of students of Class XI SMK Setia Darma Palembang. This is shown after testing the mean of the initial test and the final test with the price that thitung> ttabel is 1.68 <9.04. Ho (the null hypothesis) is rejected, and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So the hypothesis testing proves that there is influence of the use of Think Talk Learning (TTW) learning model in learning writing argumentation writing. Keywords: Think Talk Write (TTW), Writing, Argumentation
