PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM MELALUI MODEL GENIUS LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 147 PALEMBANG

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model Genius Learning. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-A SD Negeri 147 Palembang pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 36 siswa, terdiri dari 20 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, tiap siklus meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Indikator kerja yang ditetapkan untuk mengukur keberhasilan atau dikatakan tuntas jika nilai hasil belajar siswa >60 dan ketuntasan kelas 85%. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan rata-rata 64,70%, sedangkan siklus 2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata 88.57%. Hasil belajar ranah afektif dan psikomotor siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori cukup meningkat pada siklus 2 dari kategori cukup menjadi sangat baik. Setelah melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Genius Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu disarankan pada guru kelas untuk menerapkan model Genius Learning dalam pembelajaran IPA.

IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING RESULT OF IPA THROUGH GENIUS LEARNING MODEL IN STUDENTS OF GRADE IV SD NEGERI 147 PALEMBANG

 

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of learning result of fourth grade student in science learning by using Genius Learning model. In this study the subject is the fourth grader A State Elementary School 147 Palembang in the even semester of 2012/2013 school year which amounted to 36 students, consisting of 20 male students and 16 female students. This study uses classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle includes: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Indicators of work established to measure success or say complete if the value of student learning outcomes> 60 and mastery 85% class. In the first cycle, students' cognitive learning achievement with an average of 64.70%, while cycle 2 obtained an average value of 88.57%. The learning result of the affective and psychomotor aspects of the students in cycle I are in the category of enough increase in cycle 2 of the category is quite good. After conducting the classroom action research can be concluded that using the Genius Learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore it is suggested to the classroom teacher to apply the Genius Learning model in science lesson.
