Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata tangan dan kekuatan otot lengan dengan ketepatan hasil servis forehand dalam permainan bulutangkis pada peserta ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidak hubungan antara koordinasi mata tangan dan kekuata otot lengan dengan ketepatan hasil servis forehand dalam permainan bulutangkis pada peserta ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasi. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah koordinasi mata tangan dan kekuatan otot lengan sebagai variabel bebas dan ketepatan hasil servis forehand sebagai variabel terikat. Dimana yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung yang berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dan kekuatan otot lengan dengan ketepatan hasil servis forehand memiliki hubungan yang tergolong sangat kuat. Dari hasil analisis data yang menggunakan rumus korelasi ganda didapat nilai koefisien korelasinya adalah 0,89 dan hasil uji signifikan ternyata > dari yaitu 20>4,26.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF HAND EYE COORDINATION AND STRENGTH OF ARM MUSCLE WITH THE ACCURACY OF OREHAND SERVICES IN BULUTANGKIS GAME IN SMA NEGERI 2 KAYUAGUNG

Abstract

     The problem in this study is that there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength with the accuracy of forehand service results in badminton games for extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. The purpose of this study was to find out there was no relationship between hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength with the accuracy of forehand service results in badminton games for extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. The method used in this study is the correlation method. The variables in this study were hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength as independent variables and the accuracy of the forehand service results as the dependent variable. Where the sample in this study were extracurricular participants of SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung, amounting to 12 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple correlation. The results of the study can be concluded that the relationship of hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength with the accuracy of the results of the forehand service has a very strong relationship. From the results of data analysis using the multiple correlation formula obtained the correlation coefficient is 0.89 and the results of the significant test turned out to be F_ (count)> from F_ (table) which is 20> 4.26.
