ANALISIS LEARNING OBSTACLES SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL-SOAL GEOMETRI MATERI VOLUME KUBUS DAN BALOK (STUDI DESKRIPTIF PADA SISWA SD KELAS VI SD N 127 PALEMBANG)

Abstract


This research was conducted based on the problem of elementary school students who were still having difficulty in solving non-routine math problems. This information was obtained based on the results of the research interview with the VI grade on SD Negeri 127 Palembang. Then the researcher wants to know what learning obstacles experienced by students in solving non-routine math problems. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method using test questions which are then analyzed by learning obstacles experienced by students. Then in order to get in depth information about learning obstacles, the researchers used the interview method. The results obtained are: a) Problem number 1 there are 43% of students who have an ontogenic obstacle and 40% of students who have an epistemological obstacle; b) Problem number 2 there are 53% students who experience ontogenic obstacle and 37% students who experience epistemological obstacle. Looking at the results of the percentage above, we can conclude that students in class VI still need to be increased understanding of the concept of building volume. The teacher should make a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) or didactic design in learning mathematics and scaffolding individually for each student.
