Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is based on the assumption that problematic individuals are unable to develop solutions to their problems, one of which is that they are unable to control emotions that lead to bullying behavior. This SFBT approach it provides opportunities for counselees to learn to solve problems by finding solutions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach in reducing the bullying behavior of vocational students. This study uses a quantitative experimental approach with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The use of this design is done to test the results before and after treatment and check whether the treatment has the potential to cause changes or not. The population in this study consisted of all students in class X at SMK Islam Kalipare. This subject consisted of seven class X students who indicated high bullying. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling type, purposive sampling, with certain criteria set by the researcher. The instrument used by the researcher consisted itself 30 items with a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using a paired t-test for parametric statistical analysis.
