Meningkatkan Self Efficacy Melalui Konseling Kelompok di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 47 Palembang

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya suatu permasalahan yang dialami oleh sekelompok siswa yang memiliki keyakinan diri (self efficacy) rendah. Adapun tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa melalui konseling kelompok. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Pre Eksperimental Design. Pola eksperimen yang digunakan peneliti ialah menggunakan one group pretest dan posstest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII 2 SMP Negeri 47 Palembang dengan metode pengambilan sampel Non Probability Sampling dengan jenis Purposive Sampling sebanyak 9 siswa. Hasil pengelolahan data pretest yang didapatkan menghasilkan nilai 52% dan setelah perlakuan konseling kelompok nilai pada posttest mencapai 74% sehingga dapat dilihat bahwa peningkatan mencapai 23%. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan hasil sig.0,008 berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak jika nilai sig < 0,05. Jadi kesimpulan akhir, karena 0,008 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak, berarti ada perbedaan dan peningkatan self efficacy siswa sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti kegiatan konseling kelompok. Â Â
