Allegations of Research Misconduct

ELTE Journal (English Language Teaching and Education) is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. The journal takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, authorship disputes, and other unethical research practices.

All allegations of research misconduct will be investigated fairly, confidentially, and objectively by the editorial team in accordance with established publication ethics guidelines and relevant best practices. When necessary, the journal may request additional information or supporting evidence from the authors, reviewers, or relevant institutions.

If an allegation is substantiated, the journal will take appropriate corrective action, which may include manuscript rejection, publication of a correction or retraction, notification of the authors' affiliated institutions, or other measures deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

The journal ensures that all parties involved are given an opportunity to respond to allegations before a final decision is made. All investigations and decisions will be conducted with due consideration for fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and the protection of the scholarly record.

ELTE Journal encourages authors, reviewers, and readers to report suspected research misconduct to the editorial team through the journal's official communication channels.
