Retraction Policy

Jurnal Ampere is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the scholarly record. A published article may be retracted when there is clear evidence that its findings or publication process are seriously compromised.

An article may be considered for retraction in cases including, but not limited to:

  1. plagiarism or significant overlap with previously published work;
  2. fabrication or falsification of research data;
  3. duplicate or redundant publication;
  4. serious ethical violations in research or publication;
  5. significant authorship or conflict-of-interest issues; or
  6. substantial errors that invalidate the main findings or conclusions of the article.

The decision to retract an article is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the results of an appropriate investigation and available evidence. The authors will normally be given an opportunity to provide clarification or a response before a final decision is made.

When an article is retracted, the article will remain available in the journal archive but will be clearly marked as "Retracted". A retraction notice will be provided, stating the reason for the retraction and linking to the original article. The original article will not be removed in order to preserve the transparency and integrity of the scholarly record.

Jurnal Ampere may also publish a Correction or Expression of Concern when these actions are more appropriate than retraction.
