Author Guidelines

Submission, Initial Assessment, and Peer Review

Jurnal Ampere utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for manuscript submission, editorial management, and peer-review processes. Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official Jurnal Ampere manuscript template and submit them through the journal website:

Jurnal Ampere accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian or English. However, authors are strongly encouraged to submit manuscripts in English to improve the international visibility, accessibility, and scholarly impact of their published work.

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or scientific publication. Each submission undergoes an initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor to evaluate its originality, scientific quality, novelty, compliance with publication ethics, and relevance to the Focus and Scope of Jurnal Ampere.

A manuscript may be rejected before entering the peer-review process if it falls outside the journal's scope, lacks scientific contribution or novelty, contains significant methodological deficiencies, violates publication ethics, does not comply with the journal's manuscript template, or is written in language that prevents proper scientific evaluation.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening are assigned to an Associate Editor and undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Associate Editor's evaluation, and the manuscript's compliance with the journal's editorial policies.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared using the Jurnal Ampere manuscript template. Articles may be written in Indonesian or English and should follow the prescribed structure, including the title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments (if applicable), and references.

The manuscript must include both an Indonesian abstract (Abstrak) and an English abstract (Abstract), each consisting of 150–250 words. Authors should provide 3–5 keywords or phrases, separated by commas.

The formatting of tables, figures, graphs, equations, and other manuscript elements must comply with the instructions provided in the official manuscript template.

References

Jurnal Ampere adopts the IEEE Reference Style for citations and references. All references listed in the bibliography must be cited in the manuscript, and all in-text citations must appear in the reference list.

Authors are required to include at least 15 references relevant to the research topic, subject to the following requirements:

At least five references must be from international journals and/or international conference proceedings.
References should primarily be published within the last ten years, except for seminal or classic works that remain relevant.
At least 80% of the references must be from peer-reviewed journal articles.
All references with an available Digital Object Identifier (DOI) must include the DOI.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software, such as Mendeley Reference Manager, Zotero, or EndNote, to ensure consistency and accuracy in citations and references.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all references included in the manuscript.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are subject to similarity checking using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process. Manuscripts containing plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.

Editorial Decision

Based on the peer-review results, the editorial decision may be one of the following:

Accept
Minor Revision
Major Revision
Reject

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' and editors' comments within the specified revision period.

Publication Ethics

Jurnal Ampere is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold the principles of academic integrity, transparency, objectivity, and ethical scholarly publishing throughout the publication process.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. All articles published in Jurnal Ampere are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with appropriate attribution and under the same license terms.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Jurnal Ampere applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

IDR 350,000 per article

The APC is charged after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication.

No fee is charged at the initial submission stage.

Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process or editorial decision. All manuscripts must meet the scientific, ethical, and editorial standards of Jurnal Ampere before publication.
