Review Process Policy
Jurnal Ampere applies a rigorous and transparent peer review process to maintain the quality, originality, relevance, and scientific integrity of published articles. All submitted manuscripts are subject to editorial assessment and peer review before a publication decision is made.
Review Model
Jurnal Ampere uses a double-blind peer review system in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. This system is intended to promote fairness, objectivity, and impartiality in the evaluation of manuscripts.
Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, research experience, and relevance to the subject of the submitted manuscript. The journal aims to assign at least two independent reviewers to each manuscript that proceeds to external peer review.
Reviewers must disclose potential conflicts of interest and decline assignments when they cannot provide an impartial assessment.
Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Originality and contribution to knowledge;
- Relevance to the journal's Aim and Scope;
- Appropriateness of the research methodology;
- Validity of data analysis and interpretation;
- Clarity and organization of the manuscript;
- Quality and relevance of references; and
- Scientific significance and potential contribution to Electrical Engineering.
Editorial Decisions
The editor makes the final editorial decision based on the reviewers' recommendations, the scientific quality of the manuscript, and the journal's editorial policies. Possible decisions include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
The editor is not bound to follow a reviewer's recommendation if the recommendation is inconsistent with the manuscript's quality or the journal's policies. Additional review may be requested when necessary.
Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest
Manuscripts under review are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose manuscript content or use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage.
Any potential conflicts of interest involving authors, reviewers, or editors must be disclosed and managed appropriately to protect the fairness and integrity of the review process.
Publication Ethics
Jurnal Ampere follows the principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, or other forms of publication misconduct are handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
